Welcome!
We got our first Shar-Pei in 1990. After Lucy (horsecoat) was shot, John got me Charlie (brushcoat). I found out later she was not a reputable breeder - at 2 years Charlie developed kidney failure and died shortly after. He was in a puppy match here in Elk City - won it and we knew we had a showdog! WRONG! Turned out he had a parrot mouth.
But we had caught 'the Bug' then - so we set out to find us a "showdog" and bought our first showdog - Ch. Gabriella's Beritz by Caddy from Dick Schliep. Beritz finished her championship - she was too big to special - so she came home and became our Brood Bitch. She is now almost 11 years old and has her ROM (Register of Merit).
Now we have a string of champions that we love and are very proud of!
